It is with deep sadness that we announce, after a courageous battle with illness, the passing of Neville Warren Burrows Sr on August 15, 2023, in Pawtucket RI. Neville Warren Burrows Sr was born on September 3, 1939, in Somerset, Bermuda. He was a talented carpenter by trade, but after July 27, 1975, his life’s focus was on walking with and serving Jehovah God as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. On that date, he symbolized his dedication to Jehovah through water baptism - over 48 years ago…and never looked back! Neville was not one to sit still – if there was something to build – from large commercial and residential development, Kingdom Halls (houses of worship) all over New England, to a friend’s weekend project- he was there! He was an active minister and loving shepherd in the congregation, and a most treasured husband and father.
He is survived by eight children, three sons and their spouses, Neville Jr & Cheryl, Michael & Dianne, and Nathan & Hannah, five daughters and their respective spouses, Kimberly, Natalie & Fabian, Alison & Michael, Alisha & Jefte, Amanda & Matthew, his sister Cynthia Simons, as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brother and sister in-laws and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his dear wife of 57 years, Inez Elise Burrows, his parents Warren and Griselda Burrows, his brother Sydney Burrows and sister Mary Dowling, his father and mother in-law, Irving and Erma Burney.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 30th, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. This will take place at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Avenue Lincoln RI 02865. There will be a memorial talk at 6:00 pm.
